Senior Digital Product Analyst

The digital product team work together to create new experiences for our 4 million target customers.
They're on a mission; designing what our customer interactions with us should look like now and in the future, taking customer insight to fuel creative new tech solutions and improvements to the journey.
As the eyes and ears to our customers, the team have a wealth of insight on customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction in their shopping touchpoints with us. They take this from a number of sources including our in-house UX lab, customer surveys and data science teams, discovering issues and opportunities to help us drive great outcomes for the customer!

The DCX Tribe
The Digital Customer Experience (DCX) tribe is striving to create a world class customer experience across our Mobile and Web platforms. We are in control of building this exciting future and are looking for like-minded individuals to help make this a reality. About the role
As a Senior Analyst, within our Data>iNsight>Action (DNA) Division, this role sits in a sweet spot within two incredibly exciting departments. You’ll be supported by our Data division, specifically the BI & Analytics Team but aligned to influence within our Digital Customer Experience (DCX) Tribe. Your role will be to deliver world class insight that fuels our strategic plans and decision-making process. Mining our data on customers to really understand their end to end behaviour, the drivers of it and the implications on DCX plans and priorities.
As part of this role you will:
- Collaborate with product squads to identify important questions and determine how to help answer them with data.
- Gather, manipulate and analyse large data sets from multiple sources.
- Provide thought leadership on Experimentation
- Develop advanced analytical solutions to help solve business problems.
- Critically, your role will be to go beyond providing answers with analysis, but to begin to influence stakeholders in the business on not only what questions they should be answering but how best to use the insight you generate to use action.
- You’ll be a partner in thinking through problems with the business rather than purely a data and analysis provider
What are we looking for from you...
You'll have a logical mindset and always look to use a common sense approach. You'll be able to break down problems in to smaller, more defined elements and be comfortable in then presenting this to colleagues at all levels.
From a technical point of view, you'll need SQL and experience of using Digital Analytics tools (ideally Google Analytics) in a professional setting. An understanding of site tagging would also be beneficial. Knowledge of experimentation principles and experience of applying this within Digital Retail would also be helpful as this is a key methodology that we apply to understand the success of changes we make to the Journey.
