About the role

We're looking for a passionate customer driven person to work as part of a team of evangelists for Digital Collaboration engagement and support across The Very Group.

Here you'll be work in Agile methodologies, principals, and ceremonies to deliver change at pace.

In this role you will help us promote the adoption of collaboration tools across The Very Group, driving innovation, researching new technologies and adoption of new features within the digital collaboration space

By Supporting our Tribes with surgeries and attendance of the appropriate ceremonies for improved engagement and provide real time tech support and ensuring that personal experience first, to support the technology that our colleagues love.

Day to day:

• All adoption and utlisation of digital collaboration tools across The Very Group Estate

• Be the face of tech with Tribes in ceremonies to support Tech Issues, document issues and where possible resolve issues before engaging with wider Tech teams.

• Escalate to the digital collaboration lead when issues arise and support accordingly

• Provide additional user guides and training when required, be creative and engaging delivering in digital ways, such as videos making them more engaging than traditional paper driven engagement,

• Build new tools using Office 365 when relevant i.e. requests, SharePoint pages, teams’ pages, Power apps and intranet pages, keep up to speed with the change in technical currency.

• Be the face of Tech as the conduit for the wider Tech estate such as engineers in other squads when the additional support is required.

• Work closely with our Comms Teams to underpin their strategy

Digital collaboration tools

• Own the utlisation of Digital collaborations tools for Tech.

• Manage updates and new functionality with the agreed tool sets, showcase new functionality by using the hints and tips already established in the Tech Bar channels and promote through tribe engagement

• Attend events on upcoming changes to tools and help with the roadmap for the future enhancements

• Ensure there is no shadow Tech in local tribes deviating away from the strategy define collaboration tools usage.

Innovation

• As a team you will be responsible for coming up with new ideas and ways of creating engagement of all digital collaboration tools.

• Promotion of the team’s offerings and ensuring new ways of working and continuous improvements for our colleagues is at the heart of the team’s mantra.

• Meet with tribes to offer relevant digital collab solutions to their problems

Adoption

• Show case the use of tools and support people’s requirements to adopt.

• Create user guides hold training sessions and creative sessions to inspire and support.

• Create videos for ease of play back on how to’s to support our colleagues

• Promote the weekly Hints and Tips published in Tech Bar

• Grow the virtual Tech Bar in usage and drive ideas for engagement

• Recruit tribe champions for the business for Tech, to enable self-support

Tech ownership

• As a team you will responsible for representing Tech, providing tech support at first line and from time you time you may need to be the conduit to enabled fixes between multiple areas of Tech.

• Ensure a high level of service at all times, engaging with all appropriate levels, including Exec, SLT and SMT.,

• Retain ownership of issues to ensure resolution and remove treacle and escalation.

Requirements

*Advanced knowledge of the O365 suite and technologies

• Understanding of collaboration tools such as Atlassian, Miro, Slack

• Appetite to grow and develop the roll

• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum

• Agile ways of working and delivery experience.

• Strong background in Tech Operations, technical ability to resolve issues

• Windows 10 knowledge

• Intune knowledge

• Proficient Mac user

• High level knowledge in Tech End User and Mobile technologies.

• Advanced knowledge of web-based technologies, including collaboration tools

• Advanced level of fault finding and resolution.

• Competency with one to one training and group presentations

• Competency creating user guides and documentation to encourage self help

• Super users of all mobile technology
