Ready to apply for a role at The Very Group?
Here's everything you need to know about our recruitment process, and how it works.
How do I get more information on a role I’m interested in?
We hope you’ll find everything you need in the job ad or on our career site, but if you have any questions, please email our friendly talent acquisition team on TalentAcquisition@theverygroup.com with the role title.
What should I include with my application?
Before you apply for a role, please make sure your CV or LinkedIn Profile is up to date. We may need you to submit a portfolio of your work too. We’ll let you know in the advert if it's needed, so please also make sure your contact details are up to date so we can get in touch with you easily.
What happens after I apply for a role?
We have a team of in house talent acquisition partners and advisors who use their skills to find the very best people to fulfil our recruitment needs. As you can imagine, we receive a lot of applications for our roles. Once we’ve received your application you’ll be notified by email if you're not going to be considered. If you have the relevant skills and experience, you’ll be contacted by one of our team to have a discussion in more detail around your background, transferable skills and expectations. If you’ve been selected for an interview you will be notified once the hiring manager has been made aware of your application.
What is your interview process?
-
This can differ dependent on role to make sure we adapt to the candidate and hiring team needs. Successful applications typically lead to an informal call with one of our talent acquisition partners or advisors to learn more about you, your skills and experience, as well as for you to hear more about us and the opportunity.
-
If we’re a match, we’ll then have a more in-depth chat about the interview stages, timelines and any specific needs you have in entering and preparing for our interview process. Please inform the talent acquisition partner or advisor of any reasonable adjustments needed throughout our hiring process so we can ensure you’re able to bring your best self to interview.
How long will it take for me to receive interview feedback?
We generally aim to respond to every candidate within 10 working days and should you be successful you’ll be called by the Talent Acquisition team to run through your offer.
