About the role
We are seeking a talented videographer / editor who is passionate about creating compelling video content and has an interest in fashion and social media. You will be responsible for shooting, planning and editing high-quality videos that tell engaging and impactful stories helping to convey our brand message, products and services to our target audience.
Working in the internal video team & collaborating with the offsite media team to create visual storyboards, scripts, and shot lists that ensure a clear and cohesive narrative within each project. Edit and enhance video content using industry-standard software to create visually appealing and engaging final assets.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop engaging product video content, from concept to execution, for various platforms and campaigns, leveraging your creative vision and technical expertise to tell compelling product stories and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure videos align with marketing strategies and effectively engage the target audience.
- Carry out all aspects of pre-production including script development, creation of storyboards and equipment management.
- In collaboration with the video director / art director, to direct the talents performance on set in line with the concept & script.
- Co-ordinate and assist tasks to lighting technicians & production team.
- Manage all aspects of video production including camera operation, sound recording, lighting set up and crew management, liaising with producers, cast and crew members on set and taking direction from the video director.
- Prepare detailed ‘kit lists’ for shoots which align and enhance the storyboard / concept with an awareness of production spend / budget.
- The ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing studio and location environments making key decisions and problem solving.
- Ensure that all design briefs are fulfilled with the greatest level of quality and consistency.
- Edit videos using Premiere Pro and be proficient in colour grading footage and incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics in post.
- Provide master & cut down edits across multiple ratios answering the marketing deliverables brief requirements.
About you.
- Proven experience in video production and storytelling, with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and technical skills.
- Knowledge of camera operation techniques, including composition, lighting, and sound.
- Proficiency in the use of a range of production equipment including cameras, sound equipment and lighting and experience of working as part of a crew on productions.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and other related tools is essential.
- Proficiency in technical post-production techniques and processes including colour grading and motion graphics.
- Good understanding of visual storytelling techniques and the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with clients.
- Knowledge of current videography trends and a willingness to adapt and experiment with new approaches.
- A self-starter who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- A passion for creating visually captivating content and a solid commitment to delivering results.
- Ability to produce content with quick turnarounds, particularly within a high-pressure environment.
- Awareness and application of best practice across mobile-first social platforms.

You can expect a two-stage interview process for this position:
1st stage - An informal 45-minute video call with the hiring team to discuss your skills and relevant experience. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the role and to ask any questions you may have.
2nd Stage – A one-hour formal task based interview where you can expect both competency and technical questions. This will be held face to face at our HQ in Liverpool.
