About the role.

This role will be responsible for supporting the merchandise planning team with merchandising activities across planning, trading, combined with the Strategic Brand Partnership team to drive Under Armour sales. the role will have a direct impact on maximising customer satisfaction, sales and profitability through effective commercial and inventory management and marketing campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports Merchandise Planner to deliver joint strategic objectives and commercial budgets with UA
  • Understands annual commercial budgets to deliver joint business objectives.
  • Works alongside the merchandise planner & UA customer services team, to manage stock flow from UA through TVG business.
  • Managing product lifecycle to deliver availability targets.
  • Involved in pricing within a product lifecycle to ensure volume and margin maintained, whilst stocks managed, aligning to the trading plan.
  • Support the delivery of effective critical path management to effectively fulfil merchandise plans.
  • Works with UA team weekly to manage replenishment with utilisation of the Forecasting application and any UA specific tools .
  • Working in collaboration with logistics, operations and sourcing, establish opportunity to increase speed to market..
  • Understands and utilises data to best inform effective decision making for department.
  • Assist with the planning & execution of engaging and high-impact campaigns, managing budgets and timelines, and collaborating with colleagues across channel marketing, trade, and agencies to create integrated and creative campaign solutions. 4 campaigns per year.
  • Work with Marketing and Category colleagues to deliver category priorities, including contributing to quarterly reviews and new brand engagement.

This role will require UK travel in the future ( there is currently no UK based UA HQ)and overseas travel to UA’s HQ in Amsterdam, ( min twice a year)

About you.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Retail merchandising experience.
  • Good knowledge of excel.
  • Strong with numbers – able to produce, analyse and articulate findings from reports.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish relationships, internal & external - working cross functionally and collaboratively.
  • Desire to understand the Very customer.
  • Problem solving/critical thinking.
  • Decision making skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • A great attitude and who is willing to learn.

2nd stage – A one-hour Task based Interview which is relevant to the BAU of the role followed by a Q&A.
