About the team:

I have a fantastic role available for a Category Marketing and Trade Manager to work in our Retail team across Fashion, Sport & Home. You will work alongside Category Heads of and managers to review, develop and deliver category activity and engagement plans to drive growth for key brands. This role is a hybrid, made up of Trading as well as Marketing and experience is required in both. Applicants must have experience in any of the key categories: Fashion, Sport & Home. You will be working closely with marketing to lead and deliver key campaign to drive category growths and identify incremental funding opportunities.

The role can be based in either Liverpool or London


About the role:

This brand-new role takes on a great deal of responsibility; owning and managing the category trading calendar ensuring priorities are aligned to wider business strategy and in the delivery of key initiatives. You will monitor key competitors within the Fashion, Sports and Home market, analysing sales, budgets and being able to quickly adjust plans to meet the needs of our customers.

This role reports into the Head of Merchandising & Commercial. This is an ideal opportunity for a well-established Marketing Manager who has worked within Trade, especially in the Fashion, Sports or Home Category.

More responsibilities include:

  • Analyse online trading data to review and recommend actions to drive growth across key metrics (traffic, CR, AOV)Management of Visual Merchandising team.
  • Able to analyse sales, budgets and customer changing needs and adjust plans accordingly
  • Responsible for building and deliver category plans which align to TVG strategy, managing the end to end process from ATL through to BAU channel plan.
  • Own the analysis and reporting of key campaign performance with recommendations for future activity.
  • Work with Data Insigh and retail planning team to understand drivers of performance and make category recommendations to drive growth or propose actions to address underperformance.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working with brands in either Fashion, Sports or Home
  • The ability to lead and engage in a high performing well established team
  • Experience at Marketing Manager level
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
