About the Team.

In the Performance Marketing team, you’ll play a pivotal part in the day-to-day trading for our brands. Working with the wider marketing team, you’ll be at the heart of the decision-making, ensuring support for both the team, wider business plan, and most importantly our customers. As a truly customer centric marketing team, you’ll work to ensure that the customer is central to every decision and that your team is empowered to ensure our plan and execution puts the customer first!

The Opportunity.

This is an exciting role that will be responsible for the creative and operational development of Email, Push & SMS campaigns! You will also play a pivotal part in inspiring & engaging customers with timely product content to drive customers to the site. Some of the key responsibilities are outlined below:

  • Develop creative briefs for activity in line with Customer and Trading objectives and present to internal creative teams, external agencies and key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate expertise by recommending new creative approaches and strategies to achieve the Very Group objectives
  • Implementation and delivery of campaigns/activity with key stakeholders (including compliance and legal) to ensure they are implemented within brand guidelines, within budget and on time
  • Review and interpret email campaign results from GA and recommend changes to improve future campaigns/activity.
  • Identify new opportunities / campaigns to maximise business performance and objectives.
  • Devise creative and exciting email campaigns in line with our digital strategy and available third party functionality.
  • Understanding of trigger campaigns, targeting, personalisation, segmentation and lifecycle events.

About you.

  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of digital marketing techniques
  • Passion for new ideas and opportunities and ambition to innovate
  • Experience of working with market leading email service providers (Desirable)
  • Good knowledge of email marketing techniques (Desirable)
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
  • Ability to understand and interpret briefs in order to advise on capability to support campaigns
