Senior Network Architect
So you’re an Architect.
You’ve got a technical background. You probably plied your trade within Infrastructure or Engineering and now you get to combine your technical head, with your eye for design and nous for road mapping, crafting strategies and dealing with stakeholders.
You know the cloud is the future and the way most businesses should be going and the substantial improvements and benefits and opportunities that it brings. Your work is challenging, you no doubt spin a lot of plates but you love it, that’s why you do it.

We’re growing our Architecture team here at The Very Group and as a result, we are looking for a Senior Network Architect to come and join us.
We’re going through a large scale, ambitious transformation and our Architecture team is imperative to this.
What you’ll be working on
You’ll be working on all of our on-premise and cloud networking architecture design, strategy, governance and assurance of strategic and third parties, across all of our sites including our contact centres and our brand new fulfilment centre.
You’ll be joining whilst we are still in the early stages of our transformation so you’ll have the freedom to define the network roadmap and then implement it (in conjunction with the wider team).
You'll be bridging the gap between the Senior Technical Specialist and Head of Tech, providing thought leadership, strategic solutions, governance and leadership.
You also won’t be constrained to just one area, as you’ll work across all business domains such as financial, retail, customer, supply chain, digital / tech, ops and Cloud Engineering.
What you need
It goes without saying that you’ll come from a technical background will have experience in things such as:
- Cloud networking knowledge such as Azure and AWS.
- Switches, firewalls, Routers
- VPC and VPN
- Network routing & Security (Equinix Cloud Exchange, Web Filtering, Proxy Servers)
- Working with 3rd party suppliers
