Senior QA Engineer

About the role

Our Senior Performance Engineers are an integral part of the Platform Engineering Tribe, you will be responsible for ensuring performance is of a quality our customers, colleagues and shareholders expect. You’ll be working in both the centralised Performance Engineering team to provide a performance test service and also support the development of the Performance QA Service. This service will both support and also assure we are adhering to the highest performance quality required throughout the IT Tech teams. You will support all our teams to ensure the best, most appropriate approach to Performance is taken whilst also ensuring the approach is adhered to and the right levels of quality have been achieved.

What we are looking for

  • Proven track record of hands on Performance testing involving enterprise systems/applications
  • Deep understanding of performance testing of both Cloud based and on-premise architectures and across common platforms; web and mobile app, web services (REST APIs and SOAP) and Big Data
  • Experience of creating performance Test Plans, modelling, execution and performance analysis
  • Demonstrable skills to develop, engineer, debug and enhance services using Open Source Solutions
  • Strong experience of scripting language C#
