Stock Planning Assistant - Retail Operations

About the team
The Operational Planning team is at the heart of the business working closely with Retail, Fulfilment, Logistics and Finance colleagues to ensure that we serve our customers as seamlessly as possible.
We translate the Retail Sales plans into operational volumes – this enables our fulfilment sites (Skygate and Wrexham) and 3rd party carriers to plan and deliver those volumes effectively for our customers.
We challenge appropriately across functions to ensure that the business delivers efficiency across a wide breadth of key performance measures (stock turn, cashflow, occupancy and stock health being just a few examples)
About the role
This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong relationship building combined with good systems knowledge, data interpretation and technical capability. The successful candidate will support in decision making around optimum stock levels, timing of intake, prioritisation of intake and health of stock.
The role is key in joining up the requirements of the Retail Category teams, Fulfilment sites, Logistics and Finance, with different stakeholders requiring differing actions. You will enjoy working with both people and data in order to implement effective solutions and will support in influencing stakeholders to deliver them.
- Highly numerate, with a strong focus on accuracy
- A collaborative mindset & approach, along with the ability to work through large projects autonomously
- A high level of technical skills, Excel, PowerPoint, BI systems
- Passionate about both delivery in the immediate/short-term and constantly pushing forward capability
