The Talent Acquisition team is a critical function within The Very Group that collaborates closely with the business to ensure we attract, select and retain the best talent in the market. This role is business critical in helping us to continue to deliver our tech modernisation journey. Being a small and diverse team, we love to share knowledge, collaborate and drive best practice. We look to innovate and challenge how and why we do things!

About the role

As a Talent Acquisition Partner you will proactively source outstanding candidates utilising innovative recruitment techniques, tools and methodologies to improve direct hires conversion rates, and increase our candidate quality and pipeline. Partnering with your Executive area, you will understand role and department requirements ensuring our processes and practices are fit for purpose.

Be an ambassador for candidates ensuring we consistently offer an outstanding candidate experience, which will include co-ordinating interviews including room booking, interview packs and confirmations to candidates directly. Workable is our ATS and you will ensure all jobs and applicants are up to date in real time alongside assisting in co-ordination of and representation of The Very Group at meet-ups and events.

You will bring with you to this role...

  • In-house and/or agency recruitment experience, with a focus on Tech/Digital recruitment.
  • Shown success of direct sourcing and ability to adopt creative and innovative ways to build candidate pipelines (we don’t use agencies) alongside knowledge and experience of sourcing tools and social media.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment best practice with candidate experience at the heart of what you do.
  • Passion about Diversity and Inclusion, and the power of what diverse teams can bring to the business.
