About the team
Very Media Group (VMG) is Very’s retail media proposition. Our vision it to be the UK’s destination pureplay retail media network for partners, delivering insight-led, strategic and creative marketing campaigns in collaboration with our brand partners.
About the role
- Lead the extraction, analysis, and interpretation of data to deliver actionable insights that inform media strategies and campaign planning.
- Measure and report on the performance of media campaigns and the impact it has had on performance at Very, demonstrating value and effectiveness for brand advertisers.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Analytics & Insight, Marketing Channels, and The Very Media Group to optimise campaign outcomes.
- Contribute to the enhancement of our measurement capabilities, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop new analytics tools, dashboards, and methodologies to enable improved targeting and performance measurement.
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to brand partners, fostering trusted relationships that encourage repeat investment.
- Support the evolution of our analytics strategy by leveraging data to enhance media effectiveness and monetisation opportunities.
About you
You will possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to interpret and synthesise diverse data sets. You will be experienced in using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) to create dashboards and visualise data effectively, as well as being familiar with media campaign metrics and performance measurement methodologies.
- Proficient in SQL, with the ability to extract and manipulate data.
- Confident in communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and influencing decisions using data, while building strong relationships with brand partners and internal teams.
- Demonstrates a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ideally possesses experience working in a marketing agency and leveraging data to advance campaigns.

2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where you can expect both competency and technical questions. This can be held either in-person or remotely.
