About the role

We’re looking for an Online Visual Merchandiser to join us and play a key role in creating trend relevant, seasonal outfits and content that captivates customers, drives sales, and onsite engagement. As a link between Trading, Buying, and Creative teams, the Visual Merchandiser ensures effective product presentation across all channels to inspire and excite our customer.

This dynamic role is perfect for someone adaptable, creative, and organised, with a strong eye for detail and a keen interest in the latest trends and styles. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a natural problem solver, and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo to deliver the best results.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Supporting the end-to-end process, from nominating products for shoots to recommending imagery placement across channels, ensuring maximum exposure and alignment with trade requirements.
  • Strong presentation skills to play a key role in monthly styling meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining awareness of evolving social media and market trends, translating these insights into impactful onsite visual merchandising and aspirational shoot styling recommendations.
  • Sample management for shoots, ensuring efficient organisation
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across Buying & Merchandising, Trading, Marketing, Online Merchandising and Samples teams to interpret business briefs and deliver compelling product stories and outfits.
  • Supporting ATL campaigns (TV, digital, media) with competitive, seasonal product stories that drive customer interest and engagement.
  • Ensuring effective visual merchandising of onsite links, creating strong, visually appealing stories that align with the intended purpose and drive customer engagement.
  • Optimising sample usage and reduce costs by working closely with buying teams.
  • Building a strong understanding of internal and external brands, ensuring their DNA is upheld while appealing to our target customer.
  • Delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines, responding to shoot briefs with creativity and innovation.
  • Making quick, informed decisions to adapt to changes in product availability or campaign requirements.

About you

You will have a strong eye for styling, with experience in either visual merchandising or fashion styling, alongside strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the fashion market and our competitors. You will show clear understanding of our target customer, including their needs, desires, and shopping behaviours, to ensure alignment with market trends and competitor activity.

  • A fashion-related qualification above GCSE level.
  • Extensive fashion knowledge to create trend-led, customer-focused product stories and outfits that resonate with our audience.
  • The ability to understand and interpret business briefs, responding with relevant product presentations to support each channel.
  • Experience in fashion retail, with a strong understanding of customer shopping behaviours and trends.
  • A naturally creative mindset, with the ability to visualise and interpret future trends for our customer.
  • A good understanding of social channels and how they can be used to influence and engage customers while supporting wider campaigns.
  • Knowledge of industry trends within fashion retail and key fashion brands.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to influence at a senior level.

You can expect a two-stage interview process for this position:

1st stage - An informal 30-minute video call with the hiring team to discuss your skills and relevant experience. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the role and to ask any questions you may have.

2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where you can expect both competency questions and a practical task. This will be held in-person due to the nature of the interview.
