About the role.
As an Onsite Merchandiser, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a seamless and engaging online shopping experience for our customers. You’ll be responsible for showcasing the Very brand through the effective merchandising of products, ensuring customer relevancy during key moments such as Sale, Back to School, Black Friday, and other major campaigns.
In this role, you’ll use data-driven insights to optimise category and product performance, improve the customer journey, and drive key KPIs such as conversion, average selling price (ASP), and market competitiveness. You’ll also contribute to website proposition changes, platform migrations, and new developments to enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- URL creation and management – ensuring products are relevant and accurate at all times to increase findability
- Merchandising of products within PLP to maximise conversion
- Recommending and delivering the best onsite execution of planned events and promotional activity
- Management of onsite trade touchpoints such as Homepage Top Picks, Not To Be Missed and Offers page LHN in collaboration with business trading plans
- Active contribution to platform migration, site development and functionality releases.
- Supporting category strategy whilst maintaining customer-centricity
- Leading with a data-first mindset to support performance decisions, through adopting a test and learn approach to the way you work, using analytics tools such as Constructor, Google Analytics and Content Square.

- Be analytical and have knowledge of Google Analytics, Content Square or similar tools
- Have excellent planning and communication skills with the ability to influence and deliver key initiatives.
- Have strong project management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Ability to challenge current working processes and implement new ones where deemed appropriate.
- Motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about innovation.

2nd stage - A one-hour formal task based interview. This will be held in-person at our Speke, Liverpool office.
