About the role
It’s a really exciting time to be involved in SEO at Very, having just completed the Skyscape migration there’s huge opportunity to contribute to the foundations of our fresh Organic Growth approach.
This role will play an important role in that approach with a focus on building, managing and delivering significant growth with our offsite outreach campaigns for the Organic Growth team. The candidate will work and collaborate with in-house and agency partners and look to deliver a calendar of work that supports both The Very Groups strategic priorities but also takes advantage of the opportunities available to grow Very's SEO channel.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Support:
- Support with SEO campaign planning, implementing strategies to maximise organic growth.
- Collaborate with the Technical SEO exec to identify and prioritise target keywords.
- Maintain and manage the campaign tracker, ensuring all activities are accurately documented and progress is monitored.
- Conduct ongoing research to identify emerging trends and new keyword opportunities, informing campaign strategy.
- Work with SEO Content team to promote key guides and articles through campaign activity.
Responsibilities to be coordinated with technical SEO:
- Monitor keyword performance and identify any significant changes, reporting these findings in team meetings.
About you.
You’ll have an interest in trends both across culture, fashion and tech and be up to date across all forms of online content. Whilst this role will require a lot of self-management and discipline, you’ll be a team player who’s happy to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver effectively.
Experience in creating or managing content personally or for a business is preferable with experience of either building or briefing out blog content.
A desire to learn and challenge, we want someone to add to a positive environment and grow with the team, whilst you’ll be self-sufficient we are focussed on the success of the ‘we’ not the ‘I’ .
Key Knowledge:
- Understanding or experience of using content management systems.
- Knowledge of how to research trends and opportunities through organic channels – social or search.
- Have worked in a retail marketing team or agency side.
- An understanding of SEO and how to impact performance.
