About the role.
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Analytics team supporting Very Ireland. This role sits at the heart of our trading performance, helping us understand key drivers and turning insights into actionable strategies. You’ll work closely with teams across Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and more to deliver data-driven decisions that make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, manipulate, and analyse complex data sets from multiple sources, then visualise and communicate findings tailored to different stakeholders.
- Identify drivers of trading performance and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Act as a coordinator, bringing together insights from multiple areas to create a clear, cohesive view of performance.
- Collaborate with teams across Trading, Digital Customer Experience, Marketing, Logistics, Pricing, Finance, and the wider Data community.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
- Curious & Logical: Always asking “why” and applying common sense to complex challenges.
- A Skilled Communicator: Able to explain technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences and deliver impactful presentations.
- Experienced in Stakeholder Management: Comfortable guiding projects from scoping to completion.
- Adaptable & Organised: Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SQL (professional experience required).
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and Teradata; experience with Python is a plus.
- Familiar with customer analytics and onsite behaviour analysis.

First Stage - An informal 30-45minute video call with the hiring team to discuss your skills and relevant experience. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the role and to ask any questions you may have.
Second Stage - A 1 hour face to face formal task based interview where you can also expect both competency and technical questions.
