About the role

We are looking for a visionary and dynamic Senior Creative Manager who thrives on delivering exceptional campaigns and content across a diverse range of projects. With the launch of The Very Media Group in 2024, Very is bringing the power of deep consumer insight to brand partners, helping them connect with our distinct and engaged audience at scale.

As a Senior Manager within Very's Creative Team – one of Europe’s largest in-house agencies – you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping digital-first concepts, leading on-set creative direction, and driving the delivery of outstanding multi-channel campaigns. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the world’s biggest brands, elevate our creative output, and make a lasting impact on how our customers experience The Very Group.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creative Vision & Direction
    • Set and evolve the creative direction across all seasonal campaigns and digital content.
    • Lead the ideation and execution of fashion and sports campaigns from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment to the Very brand, trend relevance and emotional impact.
  • Brand Storytelling
    • Develop compelling narratives that express the brand’s fashion identity and values across all platforms.
    • Drive a consistent visual & language across all brand content & activations.
  • Team & Talent Leadership
    • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing in-house creative team with best-in-class fashion and sports skills.
  • Collaboration & Influence
    • Work cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, VMG, and buying teams to ensure creative alignment with product strategy across the customer journey.
    • Be a strategic partner to senior leadership, advocating for creative as a commercial growth lever.
  • Executional Excellence
    • Oversee all fashion and sports shoots (campaign and editorial), ensuring creative direction, upholding a strong style lens, deep experience in talent & casting, and tight production planning that meets brand and budget standards.
    • Set and enforce creative processes that ensure on-time, high-quality delivery with strong experience in motion, still photography both on-figure and product approaches, animation and illustration expertise.
  • Innovation & Cultural Relevance
    • Be a resource & stay ahead of fashion, cultural, and design trends to keep the brand relevant, in the know and connected with the cultural landscape.
    • Drive experimentation in digital, social, and immersive content formats always with one eye on future technologies, inclusive of AI.

About you.

  • Excellence in storytelling, building creative ideas and bringing conceptual campaigns & content to life.
  • Ability to align and unify creative collaborators to deliver a shared creative vision. Experienced leader in motivating and inspiring teams and stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience in sourcing/QC'ing, briefing and directing talent, including models, videographers, photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, set builders and producers.
  • Strong understanding of advertising, marketing and visual design principles.
  • Fiercely protective of brand identity and passion for elevating creative standards.
  • Impressive visualisation skills, including storyboards and video concepts.
  • Proven seasoned experience in art direction for campaigns, video content, social media and e-commerce channels.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC including Premier Pro, Photoshop, InDesign (After Effects would be beneficial).
  • Strong experience and expertise in fashion, homewares, sports, and lifestyle categories. Strong understanding of fashion culture and brands role in it.
  • Customer obsessed, always learning from previous campaign research to strengthen future concepts to drive attribution to Very, brand recall, purchase intent and success metrics for our brand partnerships.

2nd Stage – A one-hour formal task based interview where you can expect both competency and technical questions.
