About the role
This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence some of the most important customer and commercial decisions within Financial Services.
You'll be responsible for creating the analytical strategy that helps connect customers with the right Financial Services products at the right time. Working closely with Product, Commercial, Partnerships and Marketing teams, you'll use data, experimentation and advanced modelling to unlock new opportunities, improve performance and drive better customer outcomes.
You'll have the freedom to shape how we approach personalisation, optimisation and measurement while leading a team of analysts who are passionate about solving complex challenges. You'll be focused on creating measurable impact through data, insight and experimentation:
- Shape the strategy for personalising Financial Services offers across the retail journey, helping customers discover products that are relevant to them
- Drive optimisation across our proprietary offers platform, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, conversion and value
- Lead sophisticated experimentation programmes, using A/B and multivariate testing to uncover insights and accelerate performance
- Develop customer-level segmentation, targeting and optimisation models that support smarter product and commercial decisions
- Partner with Product and Commercial leaders to identify high-value opportunities and influence future capability development
- Bring clarity to performance by creating meaningful measurement frameworks, dashboards and insight that support decision-making at every level
- Use data storytelling to turn complex analysis into compelling recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Measure and improve the effectiveness of campaigns, partnerships and cross-sell activity to maximise customer and commercial outcomes
- Recruit, coach and inspire a high-performing analytics team, creating an environment where people can do their best work and continue to grow
About you
You're someone who enjoys solving meaningful business problems through data and can inspire others to do the same.
You'll bring a strong background in analytics, experimentation and optimisation, alongside experience leading talented teams in a fast-paced environment. You're commercially aware, naturally curious and comfortable balancing customer needs with business performance.
We're particularly interested in people who can:
- Use SQL, Python or similar tools to uncover insights and solve complex challenges
- Design and evaluate robust experimentation programmes with confidence
- Build segmentation, targeting or predictive models that drive measurable business outcomes
- Turn data into clear, engaging stories that influence decision-making
- Partner effectively with Product, Commercial and senior stakeholders
- Lead, coach and develop analytical talent while introducing best practice and raising capability across a team
